Weekly Check In 6/15/09

Finally getting my head around and getting myself back on track again. Each week seems to be a different struggle, and I’m resorting to food for emotional support. Of course, it doesn’t really work but as I’ve mentioned before, my broken brain keeps coming back for more.

Food as a comfort factor is nothing new! It’s only a matter of staying away from food or leaning towards binging on food that needs to be decided by the mind when one is depressed, upset or under stress… Isn’t that why we either put on or lose weight during a crisis period? Many people even have particular foods they binge on… like chocolates (gosh, think of the weight gain, also of the taste celebration when in such a binge), some people go crazy over drinking coffee (very bad for your sleeping time) and some over aerated drinks…(ugh!!!) I guess anything in excess is bad!
